River Dunes is uniquely located on a 1,324 acre peninsula near the town of Oriental, North Carolina. Situated on the Neuse River where it meets the Pamlico Sound, the community’s waterfront location provides deep-water access to the nearby Intracoastal Waterway, coastal towns, cruising destinations and anchorages.

The hosts and facilities at River Dunes were wonderful!

Nicely decorated single bed cabin. Only issue was had to call maintenence to light gas logs in fireplace. Also community gas grill not functional. Ended up eating 2 delicious dinners at the marina restaurant just 300 feet away.the 2 nights there. The whole community was picturesque.
