We stayed for 5 nights at Villa Ambretta, and can only recommend this true gem in Tuscany. The Villa is spacious, clean, in really good (new) shape and stylish decorated. The Villa is cool during the day & night, even thou the outside was above 30 C in July. Due to the location on top of a hill, it never felt too hot (a gentle breeze), even if temperatures climb to > 35C . The surroundings and views are truly magnificent, and you can spend days just watching the view from the pool or the terrasse. What however really makes this place a gem is the outstanding hospitality of the owner couple. From getting the best tips of the surrounding areas, to lovely conversations to being able to use their vegetable garden to harvest the most delicious vegetables for lunch or dinner preparation was REALLY appreciated by us. If you look for a quite vacation, away from the crowds and experience a real part Tuscany this is the "go to". There a some really nice restaurants within driving range without the classic "tourist menu" in 5 languages. We can recommend the Villa 101%, and if our travels ever bring us back to Tuscany this would definitely be the place for us to revisit.

"An absolutely unforgettable stay!" We—a family of five comprising Grandma, Mum and Dad, a four-year-old, and a two-month-old baby—had the most wonderful holiday staying with Philippe and Muriel. While we thought we were just booking a holiday home based on the photos, what we actually got was a deeply warm and beautiful experience that truly enriched our time together. Upon arriving at the stunning villa, we were given such a heartfelt welcome by both of them; it was so incredibly warm and kind that we were all genuinely touched, right alongside being blown away by our first impressions of the house and the view. The house is brand new, incredibly practical, and thought through down to the very last detail—from the interior decor and the pool to all those little essentials you either couldn't bring with you or forgot to pack. In every respect, the house is luxurious and comfortable, yet it remains a true holiday home, fully equipped with tennis rackets, a ping-pong table, a sauna, and a gym. It is genuinely difficult to put into words just how much we enjoyed ourselves and to convey that feeling to others. Every single day was filled with swimming, enjoying local wines recommended by Philippe and Muriel, and sampling their homemade olive oil and drinks. The house itself is a definitive 10 out of 10, but on top of that, it sits on a vast, sprawling private estate complete with a vegetable garden, a pétanque court, a lovely picnic table perfect for watching the sunset, and a second, incredibly large and beautifully designed swimming pool. Every day, the upkeep is taken care of (by both the lovely staff in person, and a robot lawnmower and robot pool cleaner) to keep everything immaculate and clean. Philippe and Muriel are full of excellent recommendations for day trips—taking plenty of time to explain everything—as well as local restaurants and activities.

A peu près tout !! De l'accueil chaleureux de Muriel et Philippe, au confort et aux équipements de l'hébergement, en passant par le cadre géographique idyllique. Même si nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, un peu tôt pour la saison :)

A peu près rien. Il faut juste se dire que pour un long séjour, on n'a pas forcément toutes les commodités à proximité, mais Muriel et Philippe font tout pour y remédier. De plus, la situation géographique permet de se rendre assez facilement, d'un côté vers Sienne, de l'autre vers Pise ou Florence, ou encore de rejoindre assez rapidement la mer.

Superbe villa que je recommande absolument ! Le séjour fut bref mais nous avons eu l'opportunité de profiter de quelques installations comme le sauna et le matériel de sport. Ce qui nous a le plus époustouflés a été la vue imprenable sur les collines Toscanes (et que l'on pouvait même admirer depuis le sauna). La météo ne s'y prêtant pas, nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine (qui semble très agréable) mais avons pu malgré tout nous prélasser sur la grande terrasse et savourer un barbecue le midi. Nous avons également été séduits par l'aménagement intérieur. Tout est pensé pour nous faciliter la vie jusque dans les moindres détails, et l'ameublement a été fait avec énormément de goût, avec de nombreuses oeuvres venant égayer les pièces et se mêlant parfaitement à l'architecture. Un grand merci à Philippe et Muriel pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Ils ne sont jamais loin en cas de besoin mais le terrain est aménagé de telle façon que l'on peut conserver son indépendance et sa tranquillité si c'est ce que l'on recherche. (D'ailleurs que dire du terrain magnifiquement entretenu et de la localisation idéale pour visiter les plus beaux villages alentour...) Bref, une pépite, nous reviendrons très probablement !
