During this mandatory procedure, you will be filling up the police registration form, paying the tourist tax required by law and authorize a security deposit. The security deposit will not be paid, but only authorized and the authorization will be automatically reverted few days after checkout. All the above mentioned steps are mandatory.

This is a fantastic apartment with a very convenient central location. One night there was loud partying outside of our apartment but that is not the host’s fault. The only unfortunate experience was the communication with the property managers. While the host responded promptly, we were given no information upon check-in by the property managers; just handed the keys and shown how to lock the doors. We waited 20-30 mins to be let into the property. We could find no information about care or details of the property either online or in the apartment. Despite the unfortunate check-in process, I do recommend this bright, large, airy apartment.

This property was located in the old town. It was very large with two bedrooms. It had good appliances, including a washing machine. It was very quiet. You really felt like you were living in old Bari. Emilia was exceptionally helpful. Her husband walked us to a nearby restaurant. She helped me get a taxi to the airport. I would definitely recommend this place.

Overall we were very happy with Emilia, her husband and their daughter Anna. They were all very helpful, kind and responsive. Mauro the owner, although absent was very responsive and informative. Our only complaint was the stairs, we didn’t realize how many there were. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

This is a very spacious 2 bedroom home with 2 separate living room areas. It is well outfitted and the views of the cathedral are beautiful. There’s no A/C but several french doors that can b opened for refreshing cross ventilation. The 2 bedrooms are up in lofts accessible by steep stairs. As described in the bio, this is a second story unit. Access from the street to the unit requires about four flights of stairs in a very stinky, awful, musty mildewed smelling stairwell. We almost turned around and looked for another accommodation. First impressions are important. Thankfully, when we got to the unit, it was lovely. But the owner needs to do something to clean up that stairwell. There is a lot of noise until 1-2 a.m. from neighbors and the street. This is a pedestrian only area, so you need to be prepared to navigate your luggage about 3 to 4 blocks from where the cabs drop you off and then up the four flights upstairs.
