In my opinion, the location was the best in Crestone. I loved the part of the mountain range right behind the property, visible from the balcony, front outdoor area, and back outdoor area. The surrounding land and the way the owners created so many outdoor spaces to sit and soak up Crestone's energy were perfection. Beyond the location, the house was lovely, too.
If there was one thing I didn't like, it was not knowing where to turn off the garage lights when we were on the master bedroom balcony, viewing the gorgeous dark skies. We lay back on their reclining lawn chairs, and I had to use my scarf to block out those lights coming through the banister. I could have reached out to the owners, but did not.

The home has everything you would need for a lovely stay! The kitchen is well stocked, gorgeous open windows, and the property is absolutely beautiful. Gretchen and Roland are excellent hosts and respond quickly to anything you would need. The beds are very comfortable and you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. Every detail is thought of for your comfort. The views from the multiple spacious balconies capture the mountains and the sunsets and sunrises from either side of the home.
