How do you put an experience like this into words? I’ll try.
First of all, the location of B&B Bdieci was perfect! The view from the balcony was beautiful, and both the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable throughout our 3-night stay. Every morning there was a wonderful spread of fresh breakfast items waiting for us.
I absolutely loved Valguarnera Caropepe for its charm, history, and the fact that we seemed to be two of the only tourists there, which made the experience even more special.
Valguarnera Caropepe is where my mother was born. Shortly after we arrived, our wonderful hostess, Manuela, learned this and gave us the name and phone number of a man who could help us find the exact location of my mother’s birthplace. That connection turned into so much more. We ended up spending most of our time exploring with him and his wife, who welcomed us like family.
Another unexpected surprise happened while Manuela and I were communicating through Google Translate. Her mother called, and I happened to notice the name that appeared on her phone — it was my maiden name! Manuela and I may actually be cousins. That’s something I’ll definitely be exploring now that I’m back home. I didn’t explore my father’s side of the family while there. He was Sicilian as well, though he wasn’t born in Sicily.
The B&B’s location was also excellent — just a short 3-minute walk to the main area filled with shops, caffè bars, and restaurants. We explored the town, made new friends, and created memories we’ll never forget.
We wholeheartedly recommend B&B Bdieci!

Struttura nuova, pulizia eccezionale, posizione ottimale per il centro cittadino, colazione abbondante con prodotti fatti in casa e possibilità di assaggiare cibi tipici e legati alla tradizione. La cura, l'attenzione e la disponibilità senza limiti della Sig.ra Manuela ne fanno una struttura da raccomandare caldamente.
Mia suocera con problemi di allergie alimentari ha trovato una cura ed un'attenzione mai trovati altrove.
Un sincero ringraziamento per aver fatto trascorre un felice viaggio ad un'anziana signora che sognava di rivedere il suo paese natale e che è ritornata a casa con la gioia nel cuore per le cure e l'attenzione ricevuta. GRAZIE!!!

Super clean, very friendly host, close to the outlet, very comfortable bathroom with a superb shower, immediate hot water, delicious breakfast, comfy bed, safe place, balcony overlooking the mountain
