The location was great - walking distance or metro to so many of Milan's attractions and conveniences.
The apartment was quiet and although in the centre the area was very peaceful with useful amenities nearby. We felt safe and secure.
While it's a useful base, the apartment felt dingy and unkempt it was smaller than anticipated - advertises as being 8 bed but it doesn't have the basics able to cope with this many as 4 places are in the living area( 2 double pullout guest beds) the single mattresses in the twin room were thin and uncomfortable and the double bed was hard and just one pillow supplied per person- the cupboards contained 3 wine glasses; and 6 mugs; and one bathroom is not sufficient for 8. Some lights were out; the bathroom was starting to get black mould on the grout; my son had a blood spot on his sheet and bedroom wall and there was blood on the bathroom window. The small balcony, accessed from the twin room, overlooked the parking entrance area and there is no garden and one chair was damaged.. The bathroom step was unsafe and slippery to step down from. The bathroom window was either open or closed - having the option to partially open / restricted opening would be useful. Kitchen was tiny and the hob was unreliable and while bathroom towels were supplied no kitchen towels were supplied.The kettle was old and cheap and should have easily been replaced years ago. The apartment is dated is not living up to the images and expectations portrayed on Booking.
