An amazing experience hampered by a poor host and lack of simple necessities.

Location and Facilities were good. It also had free wifi. Extremely close to multiple facilities such as a train station, a supermarket, 3 convenience stores, and a massive array of food places. Also has parking in the back area if you bring a car. Most area's of the room were exceptionally clean minus the matt near the bed. For long stays having a kitchen and a washing machine is an extremely good plus point.

The host does not reply to messages. We have never even met the host. Free Wifi is offered, but password seems to be incorrect. As we can't message the host we can't enquire about anything. The host provides a phone number that she does not answer too. Room is much smaller than the images in the advertisement suggest. Initially the room matt near the bed was extremely dirty when we first entered. Could be due to the previous stay bringing their shoes into the room. Despite having a kitchen, basic condiments are not provided and cutlery is extremely limited. Washing up liquid to clean dishes and detergent for cleaning clothes is also not provided. A supermarket and convenience store nearby does exist so it wasn't too big of an issue and you can always pack more clothes. Some clothing hangers are provided but one of them is broken. More would be a lot better. A place to dry clothes exists outside the window but no way to hang clothes minus the hangers in the room so if you do want to clean your clothes in the provided area, there is no real way to dry them or dry multiple of them. Keys are placed in the room but it was a little jarring to enter a room that you are not completely sure is yours especially with other guests coming into the building too. Without a host to greet you or quickly brief you on how thing should be, the experience we initially had was very off putting. The only thing we could do to understand what was happening was to read a pamphlet that had basic instructions of what the room provides. Some information in the pamphlet was also wrong such as how to operate the AC. Information for contacting the host also existed but phoning the host did not lead to an answer in our roughly 15 day stay. It's highly recommended to research Japanese basic etiquette before arriving as the host does not give this information minus some excerpts provided in the pamphlet about recycling and separating trash.
