Das Häuschen liegt etwas höher gelegen, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Großer Garten mit Terrasse. Die tolle Aussicht rum um das Haus ist einmalig gewesen. 1 Zimmer mit einem Wintergarten und Aussicht nach Westen und 1 Zimmer Richtung Osten mit Balkon. Das dritte Zimmer hatte zwar einen Balkon, war aber nicht zugänglich. Das Haus ist groß, auf 4 Stockwerke verteilt. Jacuzzi im Garten, unter den Olivenbäumen. Das kleine Städtchen Casalguidi war ca. 1 km entfernt - Berg runter, der einzige Lebensmittelladen (hatte auch fast alles) ca. 1,5 km entfernt. Die nächst größere Stadt Pistoia ca. 10 km entfernt. Der Gastgeber Thomasso war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wohnt direkt nebendran.
Die Badezimmer (3 Stück) waren jeweils auf die Stockwerke (1x im EG, 1x im OG, 1x im DG) verteilt und im Keller noch ein extra WC. Das Badezimmer im Dachgeschoss (nur mit Schrägen) war klein und sehr alt. Die Armaturen verrostet und es hat nach Fäkalien gerochen, wahrscheinlich schlecht entlüftete Leitungen. Die Einfahrt auf das Grundstück sehr eng. Die Gartenmöbel sehr in die Jahre gekommen und zum Teil kaputt. Der Garten könnte auch mehr Pflege gebrauchen, aber sehr groß.

une maison de famille avec beaucoup de recoins pour se sentir à l'aise à plusieurs.
emplacement idéal pour rayonner en Toscane
Notre hôte au petit soins qui nous a prêté des ballons, raquettes et même une guitare !
nous aimons des matelas plus fermes mais c'est un choix personnel

The location is absolutely perfect:
- wonderful views across Tuscan countryside from the terrace and the enclosed balcony
- a short walk into Casalguidi which has supermarkets, restaurants, a great bar and coffee place on the square by the church and a market every Friday!
- easy drive/bus ride into historic Pistoia which has great train connections to Pisa/Florence etc.
- a steep walk uphill behind leads you to stunning views and a track into woods
The hot tub in the olive grove was a lovely way to relax
The olive wood provided for the barbecue and pizza over allowed for fantastic al fresco cooking
The house is well supplied with cooking and catering equipment
The garden furniture on the terrace was a bit old and rickety
Although there are four bathrooms only one of these is on the same level as the three bedrooms

Prachtig Italiaans huis, iets gedateerd, maar ruim en schoon. Er is een authentieke pizza oven, op verzoek kan er een kok komen om pizza's te bakken. Ook pasta workshop mogelijk.
Fenomenaal uitzicht. In de serre is het fijn vertoeven ook 's avonds met uitzicht op de lichtjes van Piestoiese.
