Really really good, good services, staff, and well maintained property. You really get want you pay for. Near to mahakaal corridor, they have paid lunch services and auto services, they provide RO water camper for your water.

We had a wonderful stay at Shivay home's during our Ujjain trip. The homestay was clean and neat, and the rooms were well-maintained. The staff was helpful, polite, and always ready to assist us whenever needed.
One of the best things about this hotel is its location โ it is just 600-700 meters away from the Mahakal Corridor, which made our temple visits very convenient and comfortable.
Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ujjain ๐ฉ

What an extraordinary little scam this turned out to be.
I booked Shivay Home Stay after carefully reviewing the property on Booking.com โ photos, reviews, ratings, the whole exercise one normally undertakes when travelling with family. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had not actually been checked into Shivay Home Stay at all, but into an entirely different property.
Here is where the deception becomes almost theatrical.
Upon arrival, a gentleman casually greeted us, welcomed us in, handed over the keys, and smoothly escorted us to the room. Naturally, when one arrives in an unfamiliar city after a journey, one does not immediately conduct a forensic audit of the building, street, and surroundings. We trusted the arrangement because, quite reasonably, we assumed Booking.com listings bore at least a passing relationship to reality.
Only after settling in with my family did we realise we had been switched to another homestay altogether.
To be absolutely clear: this review is not directed at Mr. Jain or Sundaram Homestay, where we ultimately stayed. Mr. Jain and his family were polite, accommodating, and genuinely hospitable throughout our visit. They made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable, and they deserve appreciation for that.
The real issue is the blatant dishonesty involved in the booking process itself.
Why is Shivay Home Stay advertising one property and quietly funneling guests into another? More importantly, how does Booking.com allow such bait-and-switch tactics to exist on its platform without scrutiny? Customers book accommodations based on trust โ trust in the listing, trust in the platform, and trust that the property they paid for is the property they will actually receive. Apparently, that expectation is overly optimistic.
Had the accommodation simply been listed honestly as Sundaram Homestay, this review would likely have been highly positive. Unfortunately, being misled from moment of arrival leaves a bitter taste.
we dd not like that we booked a stay in shivay homestay, but landed up in sundaram homestay. During booking, we checked the pics of shivay homestay, but when we checked in, we checked in to another homestay.
