Eine nette, gut ausgestattete und interessante Wohnung mit einem ansprechenden Balkon, den man auch bei Regen nutzen kann, da es eine gewölbte Markise gibt, die sich individuell verstellen läßt.
Eine nette und individuelle Wohnung für flexible (jugendlich - gebliebene) Gäste mit romantischem Potenzial (am Abend auf dem Balkon). Dieses hätten wir der Vermieterin gerne persönlich gesagt, wenn wir sie getroffen und kennengelernt hätten ...
Man muß zwei Stockwerke Treppen steigen, es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl. Eine richtige Klimaanlage gibt es nur in der Maisonette der Wohnung, die über eine weitere, recht steile Treppe, leider ohne Geländer, innerhalb der Wohnung zu erreichen ist. Das Bad mit WC ist im Bereich unter der Maisonette - also eine Treppe runter (auch nachts), wo es aktuell - bei uns - ein AKAI Kühlgerät (keine Klimaanlage) gab, das bei Temperaturen von deutlich über 30° überfordert ist. Die Spülmaschine war (temporär) kaputt, was für uns kein Problem darstellte, wir hätten sie eh nicht verwendet. Parkplätze die kostenfrei sind, gibt es, man muß ein wenig Glück haben, einen nahegelegenen zu finden, was von der Tageszeit und vom Wochentag abhängig ist.

L'appartamento si trova a Certaldo Bassa, vicino alla Piazza dei Macelli che ha un comodo parcheggio con sosta gratuita per due ore fino alle 18 (poi parcheggio libero). Si può arrivare con l'auto fino al portone d'ingresso per caricare e scaricare i bagagli. La funicolare per Certaldo Alto è a due passi ed anche i sentieri per salire a piedi.
Dal portone d'ingresso si fanno alcune scale fino all'ultimo piano. L'appartamento è piacevole e ristrutturato da pochissimo. Dopo l'ingresso si accede a una sala-cucina, alla camera matrimoniale e al bagno. Per la seconda camera si torna all'ingresso, si salgono delle scale e si arriva a una camera con due lettini con vista sui tetti e su Certaldo Alta. Il bagno è al piano inferiore. La camera con due lettini ha il condizionatore e i caloriferi, nonché la zanzariera. La camera matrimoniale ha un condizionatore portatile e sembra abbia anche la zanzariera, che non abbiamo potuto utilizzare, probabilmente perché si è rovinata.
Durante il giorno a Certaldo c'erano ancora 35-36 gradi, mentre di notte la temperatura scendeva.
I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili e l'appartamento ha diversi lati positivi.

The location of the property was great. It was close to the train station allowing us easy access to day trips in Siena, Pisa and Florence. Certaldo old town is also worth a visit. The main square has a few restaurants which were fantastic.
The property had a well-equipped kitchen allowing us to eat in occasionally and have breakfast at the property.
The supermarket is quite a long walk away if you are planning on buying in provisions for your stay. The portable AC unit in the double room wasn't very effective meaning that the room was quite hot at nighttime.
