For our first time in Italy, our hosts and their unit made our first impression top notch. They met us at the door to hand over the keys and give us the run through of how things worked in the unit. Very helpful for tired travellers. They were exceptional, warm and clearly spent many hours thinking about their guests stay, what they would need, and what would make them comfortable. They were responsive to all our questions from point of booking and throughout our stay and were incredibly helpful with dinner recommendations. We had the best meal of our Italy trip at one of these recommendations - Niccolina.
The unit is beautiful, authentic, very well located, comfortable, quiet, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely with easy access to bathrooms, King bed in main bedroom, air conditioning, bathroom amenities provided, thoughtful touches like stocking the fridge with Italian beverages, water and biscuits that we would not have discovered on our own.
As Canadians, we drive most days. This suite’s perfect location provided us with the ability to slow down, walk to all the top attractions, and take in the glory and history that is Florence that you really see on foot. We would be exhausted at the end of the day but so happy to be returning to the comforts of ‘home’ that this suite offered us.
I whole-heartedly recommend booking this unit and would do so for ourselves if we ever get the chance to visit Florence again.
The only point of improvement would be the open floor concept of the showers. Tricky to keep water from covering the floors while showering. Couple of towels on the floor did the trick so not that big a deal.

The hosts were very gracious and accommodating! The apartment is like a quiet sanctuary in the city. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, and your every need is anticipated. The beds are very comfortable.

The location was perfect. Close to so many of the key sites but also near to restaurants and cafés. The photos do not show how stunning the apartment is. High ceilings, all decorated to a high standard and with a feeling of spaciousness and luxury. There was even a curly hair diffuser on the hair drier which is a first for this curly hair girl!
It was not a problem for us but one room has steps up to the bathroom and the other bedroom requires you to walk round the corner into the living room for the toilet. There is a shower and washbasin in the room. It was all so tastefully done but is worth noting if steps are an issue for you.
