in one word WOW, in two words WOW SERGIO. Best host in Sicily, amazing old and impressive house. the yard and front of the house are beautiful. We were a family of five but this place could have accommodate a small tribe. Sergio did everything to make us feel welcome, he showed us the farm with spectacular views to mount Etna and afterwards took us on a walk in the woods of Nabrodi park. we will definitely be back here in the future.

The villa is an amazing place in the mountains. Each morning we got local products from the host - homemade ricotta cheese, eggs, milk. It is an amazing opportunity to stay at a historic house and experience the truly authentic life of Sicily. The hosts also recommended an amazing restaurant not far away. Last but not least the property had 2 very friendly dogs that melt our hearts and stayed with us all of the time
The property at some places was not very clean, didn’t have any toiletries, coffee or tea. We would say, compared to other places we stayed in Italy, this wasn’t a very good value for the money.

We spent a fabulous week at the rustic Dimora Storica Dei Nelson surrounded by trees, butterflies, birds, cows and visiting cats. The owner, Sergio, was really lovely, friendly and helpful. He took us on an excursion into Nebrodi National Park, and the gifts of home pressed (delicious) olive oil, eggs and water from the local spring were much appreciated. The garden trampoline was great fun!
