I like that all the facilities you needed were in the accommodation resort. It’s a perfect environment to just reset and relax.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zu unseren Bungalows geleitet. Das Dani Beach Villa liegt direkt am Meer und hat eine schöne Außenanlage mit Pool und einem kleinen Whirlpool mit Blick aufs Meer.
Das Restaurant ist den ganzen Tag geöffnet, dort bekommt man auch das Frühstück, das man sich aus verschiedenen Optionen zusammenstellen kann. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und freundlich. Auch die gebuchte Massage war ausgesprochen gut.
Nichts, was uns selbst gestört hat, aber falls jemand Wert auf Cocktails mit Alkohol legen sollte - die gibt es hier nicht. Dafür sehr leckere Mocktails und als alkoholische Alternative das lokale Bier. Für uns war es wunderbar, so wie es war.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage und sehr gut unterhalten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat professionell auf unsere zu Frühe Anreise reagiert und bereits ein fertiges Zimmer zugeteilt und uns mit Badetüchern ausgestattet.

We would describe this place more as a camping-style stay rather than a luxury villa experience.
The resort is located in a beautiful setting, but this is unfortunately its only real advantage. The layout feels cramped, with villas close together and the dining area placed in the center, creating a constant feeling of being watched. Staff often seemed bored, standing around observing guests rather than creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only team that appeared genuinely hardworking were the housekeeping and garden staff.
Overall, we did not feel comfortable or relaxed during our stay.
From the very first night, the focus of the staff seemed to be on getting positive reviews rather than guest comfort. After arriving late, we ordered a fish soup which was disappointing, and while we were still eating, a supervisor stood over us asking for a good review — before we had even spent one full night there.
At the same time, another staff member made us feel clearly unwelcome once she noticed we were dining outside the hotel — which, unfortunately, we chose to do because the food at the property was very poor. We have to be honest: it was the worst food we had in Indonesia, even simple street food was much better. The kitchen was located about 6–8 meters away from the dining area, with staff carrying dishes across the entire property. The kitchen itself did not appear clean, and many dishes felt like they came from a fryer or microwave — overall very low-quality ingredients and execution.
