A very pretty room in a wonderful location. Tabitha has put a lot of work into creating a space that is comfortable and artistic. She was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the places to see in the area, which helped us see most of the highlights despite our short stay. We walked along the water (a great experience), wandered around the downtown and enjoyed the comfort of our room.
Pictou is fairly unremarkable. It looks like it is trying to reinvent itself from a fishing village into a travel location, but it has a ways to go. The shops vary in their demeanor--for example, the two dockside places and A-1 Pizza (actually a full restaurant) were very friendly and had very good food, while Sea Glass Coffee house didn't open until 9am (a real problem for weary travelers) was somewhat dour.

Great location, beautiful view. The room was clean and well organized with high ceilings and tastefully decorated. Cool old building, nice porch. Good parking. It had all the amenities I could ask for-I loved having a kettle!
The property owner was super nice and helpful.
The bathroom wasn’t very private, open roof to the rest of the room and the barn type door doesn’t stay closed. The 4 skylights are very bright in the early morning,so you have to wear an eye mask to sleep.

Didn't get the info on how to find it. I have mobility issues and there were a lot of fairly steep stairs.
