The Colonel is a completely renovated 1965 Airstream Land Yacht Overlander. Colonel Marvin Teel was the original owner, hence the name. The Colonel sits in a newly landscaped yard with its own entrance. Located in the Westbrea/Gilman district - walking distance to Solano, Whole Foods, many restaurants and boutiques and less than a mile from BART. The yard includes a pizza oven, lounging area with fire pit grill and dining area. Staying in an airstream was unique and enjoyable. It had all the comforts of home at a smaller scale. All the amenities were there including a bidet with multiple options using a remote! Very fun. The outside patio was nicely designed with beautiful plants-a lemon tree, succulents and comfortable seating.

Absolutely perfect spot for two adults and a pup. The airstream is impeccably remodeled while keeping the original charm. And the outdoor space is excellent and perfect as pictured. Within blocks is amazing coffee and bagels. Perfect location for bouncing around Berkley and Oakland. Hosts are kind and easy!

We loved staying in this fully renovated, tricked-out Airstream, tucked away in a garden area. Great, quiet, beautiful neighborhood close to Gilman shopping, downtown Berkeley, and UC Berkeley. We would stay there again.
