The host was really forthcoming and helpful throughout our stay.We've made some recommendations for future guests that included:1. highlight the excellent security door-locking system. It is unique to us and we travel extensively nationally and worldwide2. highlight the walking and running routes proximate to the property. In two blocks you are in a very safe and beautiful Grosse Pointe neighborhood that is flat and low traffic. 3. adding a safe to the property would provide additional peace of mind4. shopping and really nice restaurants are less than 10 minutes away by car in the Grosse Pointe village.This is an excellent VRBO. The upstairs unit requires a narrow staircase, but if you're reasonable in good shape, it matters little. My wife preferred the upstairs for the extra quiet.The driveway is very dated and is a small detraction from the property. I'd invest in fixing that up and adding a privacy fence between the property on the right to replace the old and bent chain link fence. Of course, it's easy to suggest how someone can spend another person's money!We'd definitely stay there again.

The pictures are on point. No surprises. We chose this location because it was close to family. Quiet area, nicely appointed unit. We will be staying at this unit again in the near future.

Everything was great and as expected. The location was convenient to downtown and other neighborhoods outside the city. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
