The house was VERY well stocked with kitchen and outdoor necessities. The coffee bar was wonderful, the TV worked great and the rooms were all decorated adorably. The beds were comfy, we loved all the seating and the covered driveway as well as covered patio was very nice. The owner was very communicative, and the location is just down from New Braunsfels. Also the firepit was great, the seating outdoors plentiful and our children enjoyed the hot tub. Now for our two issues. The property did not match the feel of the surrounding area, which appeared neglected. While the house was clean, the neighborhood atmosphere made us feel less comfortable than anticipated. Our other issue was the treacherous walk from the patio down to the dock. There are square stones that supposedly create a path to the dock but they were either extremely unstable, slippery and/or too spread out to make a walkway. This, combined with the fact that there is no railing makes it near impossible to get to the dock, especially for my elderly parents who were very excited to fish.

The house is very convenient good location in a quiet neighborhood. The only negative was the hot tub, we turn it on sice we arrive and it got hot till the next day, just before we had to check out. But if you dont care about that is a great place to stay
