About this villa rental

Villa Centoni, located on the Montecarlo hill, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, offers a breathtaking view overlooking the Lucca plain.

A very large terrace for admiring sunsets accompanied by an excellent glass of wine.

A home that offers nature, relaxation, and hiking, suitable for families.

Inside, there are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an entrance hall, a TV room, a dining room, and a spacious and well-appointed kitchen. (280 sq m)

Outside, a saltwater swimming pool, garden furniture, and a pleasant poolside gazebo for wine tastings, dinners, and wine and olive oil tastings. Private parking is available.

It has a built-in barbecue for preparing delicious grilled meat or fish, a ping pong table, and two garden areas.

The villa is located in the heart of Tuscany, a 30-minute drive from the sea or Florence. A 10-minute walk takes you to the medieval historic center of Montecarlo, rich in art, culture, and excellent wine. Shopping centers are 5 km from the villa.

Lido and Massimo have managed the villa since 1998. Over time, the Centoni family has strived to offer guests who book the villa numerous extras, from a private chef, poolside dinners, wine tastings, e-bike rentals, guided farm tours, and personalized tours.

For any requests, please contact the owner.

The villa's owner (Lido) is passionate about organic extra virgin olive oil. He produces a fantastic cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil to enhance all its aromas and fragrances. You can request a tasting.

A few meters from the villa, you can admire Lido's olive trees, which he tends with the utmost passion. Upon your arrival at the villa, Lido will be happy to offer you a bottle of his lovingly produced oil.

The villa is managed by his son, Massimo.

For the Centoni family, it's always a great pleasure to meet new families who appreciate the Tuscan region, its cultures, and its customs.

The pool is open from early May until October 15th.

We had a wonderful one-week stay here. The house is large and was perfect for our group of 10 adults and two babies. There are bedrooms and bathrooms with showers (and one bathtub on first floor) on both the upper and first floors, which was very convenient. Easy to walk up to Montecarlo (this beautiful tiny town on the hill of Montecarlo) with stunning views over the hills and cute restaurants with delicious food and wine. You’ll also live close to wine yards less than 2 km from the house. It’s good to know that essentials like toilet paper, dish soap, and hand soap were not provided at arrival, so we recommend bringing or buying these. Beds were comfortable and they provide sheets and towels for you. Massimo (Lido’s son) manages the villa and was always nearby if we needed anything. Communication worked well with the help of Google Translate. Thanks to him, we were able to surprise our parents with a wine tasting and a guided tour of the olive grove with Francesca (American). Afterwards, we enjoyed a fantastic 5-course dinner prepared by chef Silvia for the whole family in the backyard by the pool – such a memorable experience! We also had space for three rental cars in the parking area which is good to know if you’re a large family coming. Overall we are very pleased with this stay and we would recommend it to anyone who would enjoy the Tuscany area and local wines!

Very nice villa located 10 min of walking distance from Montecarlo which is a charming village. There is a very nice view from the balcony. The garden is quite small but there is a nice swimmingpool. The house had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful.

Plenty of space for 6 adults. Nice pool. Comfortable beds. Good communication with Massimo throughout. Mid-30's temperature meant the villa was hot with no way to cool it down, despite leaving windows and shutters closed. An uphill walk into picturesque Montecarlo took 15 minutes to reach the restaurants.

This was our second time staying at the property. Lido and Massimo are fantastic hosts, so kind, helpful and quick to sort any issues. Montecarlo is a beautiful place and the house is an excellent base to explore more of the area. Would definitely recommend!
