Main-level king suite offers fireplace, mountain views, and ensuite spa-inspired bath, soaking tub, separate shower.
Two downstairs bedrooms (one king, one queen) and a shared full bath
Warm, open living space with comfy seating, TV, and an electric fireplace
Fully stocked kitchen, dining room table set for 8, and two grills for your BBQ nights.
Upper level provides a game area with classic board games and puzzle table. Ping Pong and foos ball are in the garage for more family fun.
An optional private apartment above the garage is available for extra guests (only rented to your group).

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The house has plenty of room and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and well stocked. The views off the back deck were amazing! Misty mountains in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. We did a couple of great hikes in the Pisgah National Forest and walked the new Ecusta Trail also. And we visited Biltmore in Asheville which was very memorable. This property is great but it takes time getting to and from it up in the mountains so you'll want to plan your days and activities accordingly. All in all we loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Lodge at Shady Branch. A neighbor we encountered on a walk referred to it as the "Ponderosa," hence the title above. Spacious layout, wonderful amenities, spectacular view and sparkling clean all apply. One of our top vacation locations ever! We look forward to returning!
