About this cottage rental
This awesome cottage on 8 acres in Oregon’s Outback sits next to the Summer Lake Wildlife Area for amazing birdwatching from the living room (over 200 species coming through the Pacific Flyway). Located in a Dark Sky Sanctuary makes it a great spot for stargazing. Ana Reservoir is only a mile away for swimming, paddle boarding and fishing. Fremont National Forest offers many different high elevation lakes, hiking, snow shoeing, and much more. This area is a prime location for photographers. Offering 3 cozy bedrooms - one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a twin bed and trundle. With 2 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, lighted mirrors and showers, guests will feel right at home. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a 6 person hot tub and sauna. Fully stocked kitchen for your cooking and baking needs, board games, books, multiple outdoor gathering locations, washing machine, AC, heating, iron, Starlink WiFi and a 50 amp EV charger. Also, we do have garbage service to the house. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.

This property was definitely one of the most well thought-out and lovingly kept homes we’ve rented. The layout was perfect for parents and three twenty-something’s, the kitchen was completely stocked with spices, coffee, baggies/containers/ cooking equipment, the ample deck had everything needed to hang out, and the cherry on top was the incredible view!. There were even robes in all the bedrooms for getting to/from the well-maintained hot tub and sauna. The beds were comfy and linens top tier. The Ana reservoir is nearby for launching kayaks/SUPs and fishing, and both Fort Rock State Park and Crack in the Ground hike/ravine are within an hour and well worth the drive. Randy, the host, was so responsive and accommodating when we had a couple of scheduling requests. Our whole family gives an enthusiastic thumbs up and we are already looking forward to going back. Bonus: I’m not sure it’s in the listing but there’s even a charging station at the house.

Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The amenities were great, and the location is perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet—plus it’s close to great fishing and hunting spots. The sunrises were incredible, and the sauna was such a relaxing bonus. Highly recommend this place!

First of all the house and location is beautiful!!! Also Randy was very helpful and always quick to respond to text or emails… loved the front deck and unreal views and the house had all that a person needs….Highly recommended!!!
