About this house rental
Located in Pissouri, this attractive house for $187 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Villa Hibiscus is a well appointed, single storey villa in the beautiful, sweeping Pissouri Bay, comprising open plan lounge/ dining area/ kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one en-suite, family bathroom and, providing a lovely additional relaxing area, is our newly built garden room, accessible from the lounge and/or from outside. A shaded patio, provides a further beautiful, outdoor dining area by the pool and gardens. The villa is in a peaceful location, and is a perfect haven in which to relax and unwind. You can enjoy a swim in the 8m x 4m, private, floodlit pool, which is maintained twice weekly or maybe just sit and enjoy a cool drink in the lovely, professionally maintained gardens, made more private and secluded by the all round mixed hedge of Hibiscus, Oleander and Bougainvillea. In season, pick your own lemon off our tree, to flavour your gin and tonic. We have enhanced our broadband signal and Wi-Fi can be accessed in the lounge, all bedrooms and the patio. For a change of surroundings, an easy, 2 minute, flat stroll takes you to the blue flag Pissouri beach. The beach is never crowded, unlike many Cypriot beaches, but you can still take your pick of 3 water sport centers for jet-skis, water rides, paddle boards etc or just hire sunbeds and umbrella and watch the world go by. There are many excellent tavernas, restaurants and supermarkets in the bay and all are within the same 2 min stroll from the villa. There are more restaurants and bars up in Pissouri village. It's about a 45 min walk (uphill!!) or a 5 min drive and is a "must visit" . It's a very traditional, unspoilt Cypriot village with a beautiful village square, sleepy during the day, lovely and lively at night and featuring some live music shows in the open air Amphitheatre and a Cyprus night in the square. Just on the edge of the village is the main Papantoniou's supermarket as well as the Doctor, Pharmacy and police station. Taxis are available to get you there and back if you aren't hiring a car or there is a small bus service from the bay to the village and back. Golfers will find 2 excellent courses within a 20 min drive, Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley.

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Hibiscus. The villa is equipped with everything you need, pretty much a home from home we found. The private swimming pool and the lovely, well maintained garden were a pleasure to chill out in when we wanted to just relax and not make the quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The villa is in close proximity to the local shops and tavernas which was great when we didn't want to venture too far.
Colin was so helpful, he responded quickly to any questions we had and provided all the information and more that we needed for our stay at his villa.
All in all the villa lived up to our expectations and more. We had a wonderful holiday and can't thank Colin enough for all his help and the information provided to make our holiday stress free. I would undoubtedly recommend this villa as a perfect place to spend a holiday.

Stayed here for almost 3 weeks in August 2023, with my Husband and two older teenage children. The villa is absolutely perfect for a holiday and we could imagine ourselves living there full time! The layout of the house and garden is perfect, plenty of different areas for us all to spread out in, the pool was lovely and just the right size, I did also like the way the depth increased which made the deepest but almost in the middle. The beach and restaurants are literally a 5 minute walk away which was perfect, also went up to the village a couple of nights (cheaper to eat). Colin was always very quick to answer my questions and queries and we were sad to leave. Yes the boys did complain about the timer on the aircon but I do totally understand why it is done that way and didn't have a problem with it. Overall I can't recommend this place enough and it is definitely on our returning places list!

The location of this villa is fantastic only a 5 minute easy walk to the beach and restaurants, The villa itself is a nice size and well equipped it had everything we needed, the pool was great and a decent size. (Not a small splash pool ) We had hours of fun in it

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay in Colin's villa in Pissouri.
We were a family of 5 spanning 3 generations and the villa suited all our requirements. The living and outdoor areas were comfortably furnished and the close proximity to the beach and tavernas made it easy for the less mobile in the group.
Communication with Colin beforehand was excellent and we would certainly consider returning in the future.

We have just returned from Villa Hibiscus, it was lovely. It is exactly and described, adequately equipped and in a fabulous location for a relaxing break in Pissouri.
We enjoyed the villa and also used the sun room as we visited early in the season. I would definately recommend, the host is fabulous, very communicative and extremely helpful

We loved the villa in Pissouri Beach very much! The self check-in was very convenient, we thank the owner Colin so much who was flexible with the access times of arrival and departure.
The house is splendid exactly like in the photographs published on the site, spacious and clean, with all the comforts you could wish for!
There are 3 bedrooms.
The two bathrooms and the kitchen are equipped with everything you need, the dining room is spacious and there are radio, TV, DVD, board games etc ... working wi-fi.
The outdoor space is enchanting: a small table for an aperitif, a large table to enjoy wonderful dinners and good Cyprus wine, flowers and plants surround a splendid swimming pool which made our stay even more enjoyable!
With a 5-minute walk you can reach the village, with the minimarket and some taverns where you can eat well.
From there you go down to the bay of Pissouri (another 5 minutes on foot), a quiet cove of pebbles, equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds and taverns.
Cyprus is a very sunny island with beautiful beaches, from Pissouri it is possible to move comfortably towards Paphos or towards Limassol and Larnaka, or towards the Troodos mountains: it is a strategic point.
It was a wonderful experience to stay in Colin's villa, we recommend it to those who want to relax and enjoy a pleasant holiday! Beautiful!!

Perfect location
We all enjoyed our stay at Villa Hibiscus so much that we have booked again for next year. The spacious villa is in a perfect location within easy walking distance to the beach. We have visited Pissouri for about 20 years but always on the hillside, so a flat walk to the beach from the villa was great. The villa has all you need for a great holiday. Colin was very helpful and easy to contact if necessary.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this villa, fabulous lication, away from all the noise but only 5 min walk (if that) to beach, bars etc...
Short drive to Melander beach, we like it there, also costa in Aphrodite Hills.
Villa hS everything you need & pool was very much welcomed and refreshing with the heat of the day.
Colin was very helpful throughout the stay...thank you& hope to return soon..

Everything you needed within the kitchen. The only criticism would be the air con as it was so hot and you could only have it on for an hour rather than constant but not a massive issue.
The owners were extremely helpful via email if we needed anything.

My husband learned to scuba dive with Pissouri Bay Divers on the main road in the bay - we recommend the excellent and safe tuition. Lots of stuff in the villa, including DVDs, toys and books. TV channel selection is very poor, good thing that we were too busy by the pool and on the beach. Wi-fi is OK, but thne signal doesn't reach the bedrooms. Pool is fine for splashing around. Aircon is on a stingy timer, so you can't have it working through the night - a bit of a problem this summer with 35+ temperatures all the time.The village itself is small and lovely; no crowds, clean beach, watersports are good. This villa exceeded our expectations- the villa was presented beautifully with a very homely feel and the garden and pool were fabulous. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious garden and well maintained pool. Beautiful villa - stunning location
Beautiful villa in the heart of Pissouri. Just a few mins walk to beach and restaurants but in a peaceful location. Grape & Grain do a nice cocktail & costa in Aphrodite Hills is worth a visit as is Melander Beach. Pool was really nice and clean and the gardens are beautiful. Villa itself is first class and very well maintained to a high standard. Wifi was an added bonus. We will definitely use again as had a very chilled relaxing break.

I guess saying that this was our 4th visit to this charming villa says it all!
It has all the facilities you need, is immaculately clean, and maintained to a very high standard. The villa is situated under 5 mins from the beach, shops and restraunts.
Colin replies to emails within 24 hours and is most helpful with any enquirys, he then sends detailed information sheets prior to your visit. We are now firm friends with the couple who look after the villa and with the staff in the Captains Bay (a lovely restraunt on the edge of the beach)
Through no fault of anyone we had two tiny hiccups this year but these were put right immediately, without any fuss.
We love the peace and tranquility of Pissouri and the location of the villa, where we spend most of our time chilling out poolside!
I recommend to a friend.
We are returning in October this year, just can't keep away!!

Lovely villa, great location
We have just had a fantastic holiday at Villa Hibiscus. The owners were friendly and accessible by email beforehand and whilst there for any queries and the villa was exactly as described. Great for our family, with two young children as it was a few minutes stroll to the beach and also to various restaurants and small shops. We tried most of the restaurants, all very good and child friendly.
It is also just five minutes by car to Pissouri Village with more great restaurants and a highly recommended Greek Night on the Friday night.
The villa itself had everything you could need, although the weather was so lovely we spent a lot of time outside in the pool and on the sun loungers rather than indoors watching TV. The kids also made full use of the outdoor toys provided for the pool and footballs etc. The garden looked beautiful with lots of lovely flowers and a lemon tree.
We flew into Larnaca airport which was about an hour away, Pafos is even closer. Various water sports available on the beach near the villa and a lovely water park in Pafos - Aphrodite Water Park.
All in all a wonderfully relaxing family holiday, we would all highly recommend the villa and would love to come back some day.
