Whether you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway or a quiet family friendly lodge, this cabin is a perfect quiet respite away from stresses of daily life. Nestled on a bench above the Yellowstone River this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps six comfortably with a sofa sleeper boasting a new memory foam mattress. This modern cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, stocked with all of the needed utensils and spices. The washer and dryer can be handy on those long trips. The front porch offers great views of the mountains, sunsets and visiting wildlife. Enjoy it in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a refreshing beverage. With the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park only 5 miles away, there is plenty to see and do. Spend time white water rafting, horseback riding, fly fishing or just traveling through the Park to return to this peaceful area each evening. There is an outdoor grill and campfire ring with all of the necessary charcoal and firewood available for use. For larger family gatherings the option of an RV site hook up or lawn space for a tent set up are available accommodations that can be made at the time of booking.

The house is roomy and cozy, without being close. It was spotlessly clean. We appreciated that there was a kitchen table for meals and larger table in the living room, covered in maps and information about Yellowstone National Park. It gave us room to spread out our laptops and our journals. The kitchen is fully stocked. There was even a cupcake tin, as I make blueberry muffins for breakfast. Our host, Tracy, provided us with a jar of huckleberry jam YUMM! as well as a package of scone mix. The bathrooms were roomy and stocked with lots of thick, hefty towels. I appreciated the washer and dryer-road trips always generate more clothing than you thought. We spent quite some time on the front porch, listening to warbling vireos and yellow warblers singing in the towering cottonwood trees that provide shade. The view! from the porch was a lovely combination of Cinnabar Mountain, the Yellowstone River and elk resting in the tall grass this side of the River.Tracy met us a few hours after we arrived. What a kind and genuine person she is! She was so patient with my first attempts at using the VRBO website.Should I ever come back, I know exactly where I will be staying: #29, Rockin Y.Thank you, Tracy.

Such a cute little place to stay. The welcome was wonderful from the hosts and the elk outside! We loved the outdoor area as well and how peaceful it was. Would stay here again!

We just left Tracy’s for the 6th. time in 6 years and booked again for next year. That says it all! Wonderful and cozy and we love it there!

It’s hard to sum up just how wonderful our stay was. We have already made plans to book again! The hosts are nothing short of fantastic! Friendly, welcoming, absolutely wonderful people! We have never felt more at home! The only problem we faced was having to leave, because we desperately wanted to stay!
