Granny Ruby’s Cottage was a charming country home in a beautiful area.I had the pleasure of meeting the host’s father and his sweet dog Sassy.It was very peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed my time there.

The cottage was perfect for our needs. We were attending an event at the Tryon Equestrian Center on Saturday morning and it was a quick 12-14 minute drive. Then we spent the rest of the weekend exploring Lake Lure, hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, and the village of Chimney Rock (easy 30 minute drive). The house was clean, very peaceful and quiet. It was very nice to have tea, coffee, and some water bottles provided. I would definitely recommend Granny Ruby’s cottage to anyone staying in the area.
