Sycamore Cottage is a stunning property within the Coastal Collection, showcasing breathtaking beauty and elegance. Designed by Atlanta designers, every room reflects a perfect blend of casual comfort and sophistication. The living area features an open floor plan that promotes relaxation and socializing. Comfortable seating areas invite you to unwind, while the fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing family meals. A large flat-screen TV adds to the entertainment options. The adjoining screened-in porch, furnished with high-end outdoor furniture, overlooks the ocean, providing an idyllic setting for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Getting Around:
Notes: Daufuskie Island has no bridge, and it's necessary to take a ferry or water taxi to get here. We help with those arrangements!
A 4-passenger golf cart is included for any reservation created on or after 12/17/25.
** PET POLICY:
We will accept a well-behaved canine member of the family if approved by the property manager. However, the dog must be over one year old, not be aggressive towards people or other pets, be house trained, does not get up on the furniture, and is ok with being left alone when you are away from the cottage (no incessant barking or destructive behavior). We require that you will be a responsible pet owner when the dog is outside, that your dog is always kept on a leash, is up-to-date on flea and heart worm treatment and...most importantly...that there will be no signs that your pet was in the property when you depart. You must be responsible for any damage and/or extra cleaning caused by your dog. There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $125 for one dog; $175 for two dogs.

Check in is 4pm and check out 10am.

A beautiful and spacious house, perfect location. We stayed with 7 people and a dog and were very comfortable. The house is well equipped and very clean. I had one little question and support was right there.Daufuskie is the perfect place to rewind and live slow. Loved it! Thank you!

The house was wonderful and perfect for taking my older parent. We loved that it was single story. The beds in every room were very comfortable. Check in and out was simple!

Incredible property - exactly as advertised. We have stayed on Melrose multiple times and this was by far our favorite rental. Clean, updated and centrally located, with outstanding communication from the rental company. Melrose is working hard to rebound, with all the amenities up and running. Great staff, very helpful. We highly recommend and we will be back!
