Relax and refresh in this peaceful cottage. Close to beaches, hiking trails & the town of Trinidad. Newly remodeled, sparkling clean 3 bed 2 bath cottage tucked in the redwoods. Very private. Plenty of parking. Enjoy a day at the beach and come home to barbecue on the giant back deck. Beautiful views of the redwoods and a fenced park-like backyard. Bring your friends and family or just come alone to get away and rejuvenate. This cottage in the woods welcomes you.

Trinidad is a wonderful little town with fantastic shops and great restaurants. Patricks Point State Park is nearby to enjoy the redwoods. Hike the breathtaking Rim Trail overlooking the coast or walk down the steps to Agate Beach and hunt for shells and agates. Big Lagoon County Park is an eight-mile estuary on the coast. And just 22 miles north, find yourself in Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park, home to some of the largest trees in the world! Trinidad welcomes you!!!

This house is named cottage A. It is straight ahead on the driveway and labeled. There is a split in the driveway that heads to the left. That is for cottage B. Please stay around your personal cottage. There is plenty of very private space for you to enjoy!!!
Other things to note
Please be mindful that you are in the woods. There are forest creatures: foxes, bears and mountain lions. No need to fear them…..they are more afraid of you. In fact the chance of seeing one is extremely rare. Just please don’t leave food or garbage outside and make sure to clean your yummy dinner off of the grill.

We truly enjoyed your home. We had a family graduation and it was perfect for our family. The beds were great and the big table was great for game playing cards. The outside area was great. Loved having the beach gear to use like towels and chairs.. your kitchen knives are so dull. They should be thrown out. You need to offer a washer and dryer for families that stay for a week. Loved staying in the secluded woods. Lots of parking. Lovely yard

Loved this pet-friendly stay in Trinidad! Very close to town (under 5 minutes) for groceries as well as some great hikes. Spacious kitchen, living room, and dining area so everyone in our family (including two dogs) were comfortable. The huge fenced backyard and patio among the trees is a special highlight!The host was very communicative and check-in was a breeze.

Location was convenient for beaches and trips around the area. House was comfortable, clean, and deck was nice. However the yard was nearly unusable for our dog and not getting your feet wet when outside. The grass was long and the yard is sloped, and there are holes/crevices within the backyard that make it hazardous to use. There is slight traffic noise from the 101. Mattresses are needing replacement or maybe they’re just kids of soft. Need some non stick pans. The two pans that were there need replacement and they easily burned food on the lowest setting. No washer and dryer access was a disappointment. House has comfortable furniture. Ring camera at door. Good rental for those not caring about the yard or cookware.
