Escape to this newly renovated (Summer 2026) 3-bedroom A-frame chalet in the highly desirable Chalet Village community of Gatlinburg. Surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, this spacious mountain retreat offers the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and convenience—just 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, with easy access to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Ober Mountain, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Relax on the expansive two-level deck, where you'll find a private hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. The lower deck also features a one-of-a-kind custom mural painted by a local Gatlinburg artist, adding a unique touch to your stay.
One of the biggest highlights of this property is its incredible wildlife viewing. Bears are frequent visitors to this area, and guests often see them every day during their stay. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the deck or unwinding in the hot tub after a day of exploring, you may be treated to the unforgettable sight of a black bear and her cubs or other local wildlife passing by. Designed for families and groups, the chalet spans three levels, giving everyone room to spread out while still providing inviting spaces to gather. The cozy family room is perfect for movie nights, arcade games, or relaxing after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or exploring the Smokies.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Lower Level: Two bedrooms, including one bedroom with a king bed and one bedroom with a queen bed plus a bunk bed.
Upper Loft Level: Private enclosed bedroom with a queen bed, plus a sleeper sofa in the loft living area for additional guests.

We enjoyed the peaceful location and the opportunity for relaxation. Bears everyday for sure! We had space to hang out together and space for individual time. The house was clean and the deck space was expansive. Kitchen was what we needed to feed our group and the appliances were in good shape, very clean. The only downside was beds had been arranged in three bedrooms, instead of four (possibly while new floor was being done), but all beds accounted for as listed. Host was reachable and very responsive to questions.

Beautiful chalet! We loved our stay. Our only disappointment was the lack of a view, which is shown in the hot tub picture. But it just might be over grown with the start of the summer season.

It is great for being away from the bustle of Gatlinburg. It is a great spot for families with teenagers. Ours could hang out downstairs while we stayed upstairs and were quiet. The host was very responsive to any concerns. The property was neat and clean and just what we wanted. It's quite close to Gatlinburg and the GSMNP, but travelers do need to be aware that the roads to it are very steep, narrow, and winding.

The cabin was clean but in need of repairs. The flooring is coming apart, the bottom floor was freezing and we could not adjust a thermostat. The middle floor was better climate controlled but no one was able to stay in the loft as it was very hot! My husband is an inspector and noticed that the chimney is leaning and at risk of falling. It had a major crack that has been covered up with caulk which is not a fix. He was concerned. The appliances were nice and worked well. Our host was very nice and helpful.
