About this house rental
A -frame nested in woods in mountain resort. Huge deck on 3 sides. Balcony on front and back with Mountain views that are better when leaves fall. Two tenth of mile from hwy 52, is 3 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway, 9 miles from Mayberry. Peaceful

The host, Debbie, communicated directly with me not even 1hr after I booked my stay.Checking in was a breeze, and the location is amazing. Sitting on top of a ridgeline in a secluded small and quiet community. The local residents were friendly, and gave the wave as they'd drive by, etc. The residence was clean and cozy. Debbie left snacks and drinks in the fridge for us which was well received by my party after our all day drive.Most importantly, she left us lots of coffee.Less than a 20min drive to all the good spots. We made the journey to do the Andy Griffith Mayberry experience, and the location was great. We had a great a time across the board overall. I'll be back for sure. Thanks again, Debbie.

The stay was incredible. Plenty to do around the area. The most spectacular view if you stay at the cabin. Sunrise and sunset are truely beautiful! Debbie is a great host, very informative. I highly recommend this cabin. Peter and Wendy

Beautifully maintained mountain top cabin. Communication with the owner was fantastic. Plan on booking this property in the future.

The property is clean and comfortable, and the cabin has all amenities needed including a nice TV and is affordable. The porches are nice to sit on, and the view of the woods is lovely. I felt uncomfortable however with the daily incoming communication from the owner and requests to come to the property, offering help (including asking if I was scared, which made me feel very uncomfortable), even after I assured them repeatedly that I did not need anything and was fine. The stairs are steep with very short steps so we didn't feel safe going up/down stairs, so I just stayed downstairs and my son ended up staying with his gf anyway.
