The property is beautiful, secluded but close enough to services to easily access stores and food. We loved the view of the stars at night. The house is off-the-grid, but isn't lacking in modern comforts. We did have to go through unpaved roads to reach the property, but it wasn't too bad once we found a good path to get there! The bed was amazing, and everything was spotless. She put extra care into the amenities and ensured we had everything we needed, and thoughtfully left disposable toothbrushes, which we forgot ours somehow! Sue was welcoming and friendly. We loved having a little getaway and would definitely book with her again!

Gorgeous area, saw Pronghorn Antelopes, wildflowers prairie dogs and amazing night skies. Isolated but safe close to Sand Dunes and the Sand DunesRecreation area, formerly known as the Hooper Pool. Also close to Zapata Falls, Alamosa, Splashland, Blanca Vista park and the most beautiful trails along the Rio Grande. Mt. Blanca was always present.

This place is stunningly beautiful inside and out. The view from the front of Mt. Blanca is gorgeous. Every detail for an amazing stay has been taken care of. We really enjoyed the artistic touches throughout the place. Very welcoming indeed! Thank you for our wonderful stay!

The location, the beautifully appointed house, the surrounding gardens and vistas ... I would come back in a heartbeat and stay a week. The Hostess was welcoming, accommodating and a pleasure to interact with.
