Nestled amongst Lodgepole Pines in a quiet subdivision just 4 miles North of Leadville overlooking the Arkansas River, this cozy condo has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathroom! Warm your toes by the fire after enjoying blue sky days on Ski Coopers' all-natural snow! Ski Cooper is a hidden gem and the perfect resort to learn how to ski or ride! Just down the road is incredible backcountry snowmobiling, or extensive, groomed Nordic trails! Keep in touch with family and friends or catch up on some work while on vacation with high-speed wireless internet! Don't worry about keeping up with sports, this home has cable television as well! A shared laundry area is easily accessible from the main hallway. (Starter supplies are always provided such as wash detergent, dish detergent, soap, and shampoo.) You can easily access your online content such as Netflix, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, etc! Cook all your meals in OR order in!

THE CLOSEST access to snowmobiling on established recreational trails is from the Leadville Junction parking lot/ trailhead area that links to Turquoise Lake. ALL SNOWMOBILES MUST REMAIN ON TRAILERS WHEN ON YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY!

Great spot to stay! Close to town and close to Ski Cooper. The designated parking sign was not super easy to see after dark when we arrived, and all the lights were off so needed a flashlight to see the entry. The kitchen was small and there is not a full sized fridge (so if you’re planning more than a few days might be difficult). There was a stain on the mattress pad on the pullout bed, which was fun to explain to our kids. Ultimately, it had everything we needed to get by for a couple nights and would happily stay here again.

The property was a multiplex accommodation which was an unexpected discovery during the check-in procedure as it was not made clear in the advertising. The unit was reasonably clean as should be expected, but extraordinarily high fees were added to this rental by not only the management company (expected), but Expedia, and Vrbo as well, the companies marketing this property. Please be aware that these fees are added before any occupancy, and then the renter is responsible for cleaning the place as if it were a hospital room! This accumulation of additional fees somewhat spoiled the enjoyment of the overall experience.
No interaction with any physical staff, other than via email and text with the management team, which actually worked well. This particular unit was within a few meters of CO Hwy. 99 which can be busy at various times, so not pristinely quiet. A power failure occurred during the late night 3:00am to 6:00am which interfered with the use of our cpap equipment. No ones fault of course but a real inconvenience though. Overall our actual stay was fine but the additional fees really soured the whole experience in retrospect. Buyer beware
