About this cabin rental
Do you love the outdoors and outdoor recreation? This retreat is set on a sporting clay range/3D archery range, overlooking a private lake. Enjoy the fishing or riding on the paddle boat!
There is a lovely screened porch overlooking the lake, and a side porch for sitting.
It does not come without activity and noise. If you are a sportsman/sportswoman, then this place is for you.
There is a fireplace for cozy evenings with a glass of wine!
Washer and dryer are on site and everything you need for a stay. New Spectrum wifi.. but why stay in and stream when you can fish and shoot clays! Our Sporting clays are 14 stations (depending on time) and a five stand. Its nestled in the woods with a variety of open and wooded stations. You may check our FB or web by looking for Cosner Reserve Sporting Clays Pelham. You may bring your own or we rent SGuns.
The Danville Casino (Ceasars) is just 10 minutes away for extra enjoyment. Virginia International Raceway and Martinsville (Nascar) are 30 minutes East and West.

We were in the area for a friend's wedding and decided to make a long weekend of it when we found Lori's listing. We had a wonderful stay! The home was very nostalgic and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back porch overlooking the lake. We took advantage of enjoying the resident geese, fishing the lake and took a morning to ride the golf cart and shot a round of clays. We enjoyed meeting Lori and her son, who runs the range. They have a great property with lots to enjoy! We hope to return this fall.

The house is very roomy and had plenty of towels, dishes, etc. --- all the comforts of home! The back porch is AMAZING! They even had a pair of binoculars so you could look out over the beautiful property! The bedrooms were large and had very comfortable beds; I loved that there was THREE full bathrooms. The hostess was very attentive and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

We have already told our friends, and seeing who wants to come back with us.I haven’t met a kinder group of people on this app. They made sure we had fun more than anything on this trip and they succeeded!We rented the cabin for a cousins trip, so that we could use the facilities on the property for a day. They made sure we had everything we needed, and set us up with everything we needed. They are honest and caring people and we can’t recommend the stay enough. The place was clean and the beds comfortable, and even the couch was comfy enough for someone to sleep on.There are 4 official beds in 3 rooms and I think the couch turns into a sofa. We didn’t use that ourselves. You can sleep 8 if people are sharing beds though and 1 on the couch sofa.However there is plenty of room for an air mattress in the living room and another in the master bedroom if you’re ok with that. We wish there was another house to rent so that we could bring more people!

Great quiet place in the woods. Gate access was easy and reasonable. Honoring veterans and the fallen is important to me. This is something the host Lori also finds important. Gold Star families keep our country safe through the ultimate sacrifice.
