About this house rental
Characteristic holiday home in a hilly position surrounded by olive trees, 1.5 km from Caldana di Gavorrana and only 25 km from the wonderful seaside resorts of Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica. Your holiday home has a large outdoor area with an equipped summer kitchen with pizza oven, barbecue and cooking area, ideal for your outdoor meals. Here you can relax after your day trips to the idyllic Maremma with its ancient, small villages and hiking trails or after long days at the beach on one of the wonderful sandy beaches of the Tuscan coast. Access is via a 300 metre gravel track. The house is on two floors: on the mezzanine floor is the entrance/living room, 1 double bedroom (air conditioning, TV) and a shower room. From the entrance/living room you go down a staircase and reach the basement with a large tavern/living room with kitchen, double sofa bed, fireplace, satellite TV and WC. The village of Caldana (supermarket, bank etc.) is 1.5 km away, a shopping centre (Gavorrano Scalo) 5 km away, Vetulonia (Etruscan necropolis) 11 km away, Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica (coastal towns with extensive free and equipped sandy beaches) 25 km away and the pretty, historic town of Massa Marittima 27 km away. There is a country estate about 300 metres away, where you can use a swimming pool and a riding school for an extra charge payable directly on site.
