Loved the location. Directly in front of lake, boat dock and Pool. Comfortable seating and beds. King bed softer than expected yet comfortable. The only downside was the internet/TV kept disconnecting throughout our stay. It would work for a while, then not. The bedroom worked well. We weren’t fussed. Nicely decorated. Owners made a note to move furniture back to original is moved. For other renters, We did shift the couch a little to be in line with TV. And I took out 2 light bulbs in master bathroom. They were too bright for my eyes. We made sure to put everything back. We will definitely stay here again. Owners were quick to answer any concerns.

My family visited Smith Mountain Lake for the first time for Memorial Day Weekend 2026. Although the weather did not cooperate for a true kick-off to summer (chilly & rainy), we made the best of it. We felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped in with a nice note from the owners and a snack basket, which the kids loved. The condo was nice and cozy for evenings spent working on a puzzle and playing board games. There were some boisterous, noisy neighbors around us that we had to tolerate at times, but it usually got quiet enough to sleep at night, which was good because the beds were very comfortable. We made the most out of breaks in the rain by taking walks around the lake, playing pickleball, and swimming in the nice, heated pool next door. Because of the weather, the indoor pool and hot tub area were very popular and crowded most of the time, but we got to duck in there for a quick swim. We ate dinner at Napoli's just down the lake path from the condo, and it was wonderful. We highly recommend eating there at least once- the food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Walking to Napoli's from the condo is so quick and easy. The condo was furnished with everything we needed to cook, hang out, and stay indoors more than we had planned. At least there was a nice view to look out at, even if it was a rainy weekend. Check-in and communication with the host were seamless. Thank you for hosting us! Smith Mountain Lake is really pretty!
