About this cabin rental
As seen on the Travel Channel! An authentic 120 year old log cabin and grist mill directly between a trout stream and a catch and release pond! You can relax on the 3 level acres. This cabin offers all the comforts of home with 2 electric fireplaces including the upstairs master bedroom, hot tub with cafe lights under a gazebo steps from the creek, charcoal grill, smart TV, Xfinity wifi. Rockers on the front+back porches. Easy access, no mountain roads! Come enjoy the quaint solitude of East Gatlinburg.
Important: The cleared area near the mill (where the old shed was) is currently off-limits to guests while we finish setting up proper barriers. Kindly avoid walking down or accessing that section during your stay.

It was extremely great vacation. We could not be off the porch because of the creek. You could hear it run. It was so peaceful to us.

FIRST Impressions are everything… upon driving up to the property we saw that the grounds severely needed attention. There is a pond that shows on the property, but what you don’t see is a unstable fence around the pond a picnic table that had grass grown all around it Entering the property, I felt it was a bit outdated however, the property was very clean very well stocked with all the kitchen essentials.The upstairs bedroom had a stench of smoke possibly from the fireplace.
