VILLA is a stylish country house for 2-4 people. It makes a great base for exploring Tuscany and Florence.
Comfortable and well-equipped, VILLA is furnished in a contemporary style that respects its fabulous rustic setting.
The house has lots of outside space for its private use : there’s a convenient deck near the kitchen for sunny breakfasts and a panoramic garden terrace for meals at sunset.
You’ll find memorable countryside to explore on the doorstep. Nipozzano is nearby and encapsulates the beauty and history of Tuscany; there's the timeless elegance of the Nipozzano Villa, (country retreat of the noble Frescobaldi family) as well as the rugged Castello dating back to the year 1000. We can book you a visit to taste their award winning wines.
Pontassieve is the nearest town and offers banks, restaurants and supermarket. The train station has a regular commuter service to central Florence. You can park your car free of charge in Pontassieve and be in Florence in half an hour. It is very easy.
Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Lucca and all of Tuscany is within reach for day trips too.

What an incredible property! And Jane and Giampiero are such kind and gracious hosts. You will love it here! We enjoyed using the villa as our home base while we explored Florence and Tuscany, and at the end of each day, we were so enamored with the incredible views and tranquility after busy days of exploration. Some days, we just enjoyed the villa, sitting outside, reading, and enjoying wine. There's a wonderful grocery store a short drive away, so we would often eat lunch out and then make dinner at the villa. It's such a special place. Jane was wonderful at answering my questions. Our stay felt like home. We hope to return one day. Also, if you have a chance, definitely arrange for a tour of Castello Nipozzano - a Frescobaldi winery. Thank you for arranging it for us, Jane.
