About this cottage rental
The house is an old stone and timber built barn which is surrounded by forests and completely self-sufficient and ecological. It is heated by wood-burning stoves, lit by solar-power and water is provided by a spring in the grounds. A tribute to sustainability in the middle of an unforgettable landscape and forests as far as you can see….

Other guests did a great job of accurately reviewing the property so I'll spare you the need to read the same thing. What I will say is that staying here required us to unplug from the world a bit as it was very remote and the connection to the outside world via the internet/cell service was very limited. So we did what we came there to do, wich was UNPLUG, EXPLORE and RELAX as a family. It is still very important for any future guests to know that saying this place is remote is no understatement as it sits atop a mountain and takes a bit of effort to get there with your vehicle (a major plus is having an SUV for higher ground clearance). But the views are amazing, house is cozy and owners welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time there as did our 4 legged family member.

We loved the huge fire places, the carved marble sinks and the decor. Very cozy and great place to relax. Thsnks for great experience. Owners very accommodating!

Hoy lunes, después de pasar el fin de semana en la Pegatera (23 al 25.02.2018) los 6 privilegiados que nos hemos alojado estamos con completa morriña.
Un fin de semana de plena desconexión y contacto con la naturaleza que nos ha hecho sentirnos muy privilegiados.
El entorno es impresionante y la casa, como decía mi hermana, de cuento.
100% sostenible pero con todo lo imprescindible, llena de detalles y de comodidades. Nos hemos sentido muy arropados.
Gracias Jordi y Pepa por la cercanía, vuestro pequeño oasis es una delicia. ¡¡¡Repetiremos seguro!!!

Hay otras casas rurales geniales, pero ninguna como La Pegatera.
Aislada en un paraje encantador, el hecho de ser 100% independiente de la mundanal civilización le confiere un encanto especial que te hace sentir relajado desde el primer momento.
La casa está equipada con todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo y decorada con mucho encanto. Su calefacción de leña garantiza una temperatura ideal cuando bajan las temperaturas, y su situación en las montañas frescor en las noches de verano.
Sus propietarios son encantadores, y enseguida sientes su cercanía cuando te explican las particularidades de la casa o las precisas instrucciones para realizar excursiones en los alrededores.
Podría empezar a dar muchos detalles, todos positivos, pero sencillamente recomendaría realizar una buena y completa compra de víveres, apagar el teléfono móvil y demás aparatos electrónicos, y disfrutar de la familia o amigos con una paz y tranquilidad sin igual.
Personalmente he tenido la suerte de vivir la experiencia en dos ocasiones. Y sin duda, será un placer volver.
