About this villa rental
Charming villa with swimming pool for exclusive use and spectacular sea view in Altavilla Milicia. The swimming pool is located in an elevated position reached by 15 steps, surrounded by olive trees, a well-kept garden with a lawn of over 500 m² where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea while enjoying an aperitif under the wooden gazebo. On the ground floor of the villa there are two kitchens, one internal and the other external, fully functional and enslaved. The outdoor kitchen in lava stone and decorated by hand is located under a fully closable wooden porch of over 60 m2. Here you can cook dishes of all kinds without leaving bad smells in the villa, also being able to use the wood oven and barbecue. Altavilla Milicia beach is characterized by a long coast of soft sand with equipped beaches. Typical of the Altavillese landscape are the three coastal guard towers, these structures can be admired along the entire coast of the town. In the southeast part of the coast there are also two beautiful coves among the rocks, watched over by a medieval tower.
The position of the villa will allow you to reach many places in Sicily, Bagheria with its splendid eighteenth-century villas, the UNESCO sites of Cefalù, Monreale with the wonderful Duomo and Palermo, Italian capital of culture 2018.

Elio our host met us at the villa on our arrival. Greated us with a coffee and lovely ice creams, made us feel very welcome and showed us arround. An excellent host!
We loved our stay at the villa, pool cleaned 3 times during our stay. Very well equiped with a stunning sea view. This property is fairly remote without a car, and no walking access to the beach or rail station. We did however have a very reliable and available taxi driver which allowed us to have outings to Palermo and cefalu by train, which was a good service and on time .
Would definitely return !

My 5 friends and I had a week holiday here after finishing our degree. The villa was stunning inside and out; Elio the host clearly takes some much care and pride with every part of the property. The pool area is the highlight of this place as it is up some steps surrounded by a beautiful garden with sea and hill views, and the pool is massive! The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped and we spent many evenings cooking together and drinking sicilian wine. Elio whatsapped us everyday to check in and would come every other day to water the plants and clean the pool, he would bring us treats and was very accommodating to our dietary requirements! We had an electric hire car and he and offered a charging cable for it, he thought of our every need. While in Sicily we went to Palermo (once by train, you can walk to the train station but the way home is all up hill), Cefalu, went to le tre pisicine, hired a boat near Mondello, and generally explored Altavilla Millicia (lovely friendly local shop and wine bars). On arrival we paid a damage deposit of 240 euros and he also said the electric wasn't included in the price of the villa so be mindful of that if you are planning on running the AC. Overall can't recommend this place enough, we already miss it.

We had a wonderful stay in Sicilly. The house and Pool were fantastic. Elio was a great host. He was very attentive and brought us a variaty of nice Sicilian specialities. The house is spacious and kept very clean. The outside kitchen was a fun and sociable place to cook together.
The pool and the pool area are a nice place to sit and relax. We all enjoyed swimming in it. The kids had alot of fun in the pool. We went on a few day trips to see some of Sicily's temples/churches/ towns and beaches.
We would recommend staying here if you were thinking of going to Sicilly.

A wonderful week’s holiday in a beautiful, large villa. Exceptionally clean and extremely well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Elio. The pool was fantastic. Village was 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. Train station 25 minute walk but a lot of it was not on pavement but very handy for day trip to Palermo and Cefalù
