Welcome to a waterfront wonderland in Lake Placid, FL! This 3-bedroom, 3-bath home is a boater's dream, offering direct canal access to Lake Grassy - perfect for fishing, cruising, and water sports! With a "Bring Your Own Boat" ready boathouse, you'll find no better location for an extended retreat.
Located on a quiet neighborhood street, just a few minutes from downtown Lake Placid, our home is perfect for long-term winter rentals or fun summer weeks of fishing and boating with the family! Sleeps up to 9!

The backyard view and canal access is a highlight of this property. Ascend to the boathouse's rooftop seating area for panoramic views of the canal with comfortable shade from overgrown trees. And when you're ready to get on the water, it is only a short ride down the wide canal to sandy bottom Lake Grassy.
Inside, the home features a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and comfortable family room with a couch (converts to a full bed), power recliner, flat screen TV and electric fireplace. The back family room also includes a flat-screen TV, bunk bed, and desk. You'll find a billiards table in the game room and dart board in the garage for indoor entertainment, along with an assortment of puzzles and board games.
YouTube TV is included on all four flat screen TVs throughout the home.
The home sleeps nine with three bedrooms. Two with queen sized beds, a third with a bunk bed (full & twin mattress), plus a convertible couch in the family room. The house has three full bathrooms. Or get away and work remotely with high speed WIFI and an office with a desk and office chair.
As for the screened-in lanai, it's more than just an outdoor space. This haven includes plush seating perfect for reading or sipping your morning coffee, a hot tub for ultimate relaxation, a tiki bar with barstools and outdoor fridge ready for happy hour, a Weber grill, firepit table, and an outdoor smart TV. Whether you're cooking up the day’s catch or simply unwinding after a day on the water, the lanai offers a tranquil setting for any activity.
The roomy one-car garage includes an opener you can use, and a 220V plug to accommodate an electric vehicle charging cord.
The rental includes access to Lake Grassy from the Sun n' Lakes private park and boat ramp less than a mile away. The park also includes a sandy beach, playground, tennis / pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, and more!

Please note - the home uses well water. While the water is treated every other monthly and the water heaters are regularly serviced, some guests have reported a mild smell associated with the hot water. The water is perfectly safe, and we provide a 5 gallon water tank in the home for those who prefer to drink / brush teeth with bottled water. (Refills for $3 can be obtained at the local publix).

House is located near the end of a cul-de-sac, so no real traffic to speak of. The neighborhood was quiet, all the surrounding properties were well maintained. There's a good amount of room inside the house, along with a large screened-in porch area. That portion didn't look well used. The 3 bedrooms were all a good size, linens and towels were plentiful.There's a pool table for those who like to shoot, along with a hot tub on the back porch. We didn't use either because our schedule was rather hectic, but they are available for those who might. If you have a full crew of 6 or more you may find eating together to be a bit challenging. There a smallish table in the dining area with 2 seats and a bench that can fit 2 more. The table can expand enough so 6 should be pretty comfortable, perhaps 8 in a pinch. There are no additional seats however, it's just the 4. I'm not sure if they have others stored on the property, but we weren't able to locate them if they do.Contacting the owners was easy, whenever we reached out to them they replied quickly. Any issues or questions you might have during your stay would likely be addressed promptly.

We stayed the weekend of the Spartan race, house is very clean and has everything we needed. The quiet serenity while on the back patio was so peaceful. After doing the Spartan race the hot tub was absolutely amazing. The host is extremely nice and accommodating and very quick to respond
