We had a lovely stay in Melbourne with our family of 11 (4 kids and 7 adults) and there was more than enough room for us all!! The place was very clean - almost new like! We were so glad we had the pool heated - it was so warm and inviting on any day- it took a day to get to the warmest tho. The walk to the beach wasnt long - maybe 10 min but suggest bringing a wagon of some sort for your stuff. The beach was practically empty which was also nice, and Sebastian Inlet about 20 min away.We did have a few issues with things like garbage disp (they put in a new one), the upstairs dryer not working and also the dishwasher (couldnt fix for us- had to order parts) so that was certainly inconvenient but they compensated us for that. I would just check to make sure it has been fixed if you want to stay there! Everyone loved the movie theater which was nice after a sun filled day! The grocery is 5 minutes away and also golf very close for those who want that. In spite of a few issues we will definitely be back!

The house is just like the pictures, clean & comfortable. The set up is great for a variety of ages- several activities can happen at once - My grandson loved the game room and the pirate room (he was a little afraid of the mermaid...). The only complaint is that the pantry door is locked as an "owner cupboard" - and there are not any empty cupboards to store food - which you will need to do - ALSO, the bathrooms had only 2 towels and no floor mats or rugs. I think each bathroom should have 4 towels - and certainly a bathmat to step out onto. One bathroom was missing a shower curtain and it was delivered immediately. The pool was great - and we brought our own air pump, floats and pool toys since the only thing around the pool are sunchairs. We asked that the pool be heated for the first 3 days - but that was not necessary - I think 40/day is a lot - and it was not needed. The patio is well furnished and comfortable. The beach was a pretty significant walk - almost 1/2 a mile - and although that may have been described - I didn't realize it was that far - with a wagon, a beach buggy, at least 4 chairs, sometimes 8, a shubumi, towels and 2 kids.... etc.....LONG WAY TO WALK. I would have rented a golf cart - but there is no place to park the cart when you get to the beach. Again, we brought everything - no beachchairs, wagon - nothing is available in the house.Good value, responsive staff. Clean comfortable rooms.

Summer family vacation! The place was good- had great space and plenty to do. The pool by the inlet is great! The kids enjoyed the house pool but was small for the amount of people in our group. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked. Loved the movie theatre especially after a day at the pool. The walk to the beach was fine. Overall it was great!
