If you're planning to drive the Cabot Trail over two days instead of rushing through it in one, I highly recommend spending the night at the Flip Flop Villa in Pleasant Bay.The villa is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we loved the beachy feel. The views from inside are beautiful, and the outdoor space is just as impressive. The property is well maintained, with a lovely deck for coffee, a firepit, and a private path that follows a small waterfall down to the water. Very peaceful and the sunset really was spectacular :-)

We received detailed instructions a few days ahead on how to get into the property and as soon as we walked in, we noticed it was beautiful, VERY clean, and had lots of thoughtful details that made it feel cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and we wished we were staying more than one night to enjoy the porch and outside area/ view more.We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful house with very nice outdoor space - winter porch, outdoor patio with a small gas grill (we did not use it though) and best spot for sunset with chairs, down at the shoreline. Fully equipped kitchen was a great amenity - if you stay outside of the season you might need it as very few restaurants are opened. Great location to explore Cape Breton Highlands! Excellent communication with the hosts! Would recommend and stay there again!
