Beautiful location

Beautiful location. Great having kitchen facilities and space. Some good restaurants in driving distance.

Furniture could use updating. Better kitchen plates and servingware maybe.

Cozy and clean. Nice view!

It was clean and cozy to stay for 2 days with family! Highly recommend! Just wifi didn't work well but they tried to fix it.

Disgusting customer service

Location and View from the cottage

I was not at all informed that there was no kitchen service available until I reached the cottage and I had to run around for food because there was only 2-3 grocery shops that was around 5-8 km away, they don't accept cards and closes by 7pm or so, had to run around a lot. Later after posting the review I received a call on 05-22-2023 at 1pm (902-285-2058) from a guy yelling in an unprofessional manner that "You should not expect food from a cottage, if you need food you should bring yours" and I could hear him using filthy words in the background. It was a total unsatisfied customer service that I had to experience.

Nice view !

Beautiful view from any room. The host was really kind and cooked me delicious homemade dumplings even though the kitchen was closed. I was there in the winter to enjoy the Cape Smokey ski resort. It was really close from there.

You can hear the neighbours a lot, even though they were not loud : but you hear the doors opening, the steps... The water pressure could be better in the bathroom. Everything around (restaurants, stores...) close at 6pm in the winter, so you should have some food with you. Also no phone signal anywhere, not even in the bedroom but that's not the hotel's responsibility. I was happy to have the Wifi at least so I could ask the owner if he could cook something for me.

On site homemade dumplings! The apartment was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly.

the location was good. the view was really pretty.

We thought we were booking a cottage. Everything we saw in the description made us believe that what we were renting was a cottage. I confirmed again with the person checking us in. He assured us it was in fact a cottage. Surprise ! It wasn’t. It was a walk out basement apartment. Going from what we thought was a cozy ocean side cottage to a basement apartment was a huge let down. There was one bedroom with two beds in it. Had we been traveling with another couple like we planned , it would have been a huge issue . When we told the front desk person at check out that we were disappointed , nothing was done. She didn’t know what to say. No apologies or anything. We asked her if my husband could get a coffee for the road and she said yes but it’s not free. We couldn’t even get a complimentary cup coffee after we told her we were disappointed. And this is why they are getting a crap review. The sheets in the bedroom were stained also. Very upsetting after paying over $200 for one night.

Great location, cabins have everything you need to make a meal, deck overlooking the ocean was wonderful. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Check-in was simple, great spot for a family vacation. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Adorable cottage with beautiful views of the water. Our cottage was close to the road, but we never heard car noise at all. The cottage is quaint and roomy and has a deck, kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. The electric fireplace was adorable.

The deck was in dire need of repair.

Cozy

Very clean, cozy cottages with a lovely view. Had many warm fires in their fireplace.

We had a rainy day so we stayed in and a lot of the interesting channels on the TV said you had to pay. We were ready and followed the steps given but was told you needed an account and it would be most likely the hosts that have the account. When we went to ask, they didn't have an account and so it was impossible to watch anything interesting on the TV even at a price.

Superb

Perched on the beautiful shoreline, close to an awesome natural reserve, the cabins were comfortable and fully equipped for an overnight stay.

There is no place to buy any proper food, except for snacks, unless you are prepared to travel 30 minutes.

Nice and clean cottage, host is nice.

The cottage is clean, the host is nice. I was charged by booking a few days ago but I forgot so I paid again on my arrival. The host found out that and refund me right away.

It would be better to have more amenities in the kitchen.
