OUR home is the perfect home for just that! located 7.8 miles from downtown Beaufort, NC 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with tub in master bath. Evenings can also be spent sitting on the screened in flordia room. Just 10 minutes from local shops and restaurants of downtown Beaufort, close to Atlantic Beach and Morehead City 1/2 mile from North river bridge for great fishing or putting in a kayak. There are 3 close trails on paddling.com 25 miles to #Cherry Point

We enjoyed our stay in Beaufort, its a beautiful area. However we would not return to this property. The noise from highway 70 disrupted our sleep too much. It would have been fine for a short stay but we were here for 2 months. We were also disappointed with the screened in patio which is actually several glass slider doors screwed shut, only 1 opens & that screen has holes in it. This room also had 2 ceiling fans that didn't work. We used it only a few times on cooler days, it needs air moving.

This is an older home, but it was warm, comfortable, plenty of space, and adequate for what we needed. Our only complaint is the road noise.

Nice, simple home. A small drive to town but close enough to the ferry. House was clean. Probably will stay here in the future if available.

Host was attentive. House is much older and needs some updating. It is very close to the highway and that made it difficult to sleep. Bring your own towels and paper produces. The sunroom is amazing and would be a good place to stay if you were passing through on a short stay.
