It is on 23 fully treed acres and surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest with direct access to the Appalachian Trail. Hike on your own or take a free host guided tour including Bald Mountain with its 25-mile vistas.

Our cabin includes air conditioning, heating, and a large up-front gravel parking area with easy loading and unloading. Access to the cabin and parking area requires an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

We chose this accommodation as it had easy access to the Appalachian Trail (AT), was secluded, quiet and close to Asheville, where we were flying out of. Mark was an excellent host, very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. He helped us get our luggage to the cabin when it turned out we didn't have an all-wheel drive vehicle, which is needed to get up the driveway. He also helped us get to the AT the first day of our visit to enjoy some hiking. The spa was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. We highly recommend this accommodation to other couples.

This is the most welcoming host I’ve ever dealt with. It seems like he truly cares about your stay. He thinks of everything possible to make you as comfortable as he can. The photos do not do it justice, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and he supplies everything you need. The jacuzzi is absolutely amazing and the views are breathtaking. This was a perfect getaway.

Mark was a fantastic host! He reached out to us before the trip to confirm the route we were taking and help us out with activities to do around Burnsville. The view at the cabin was amazing and the cleanliness was next level!
