The Cottage and the property were both outstanding. The home had everything you could possibly need plus the owner, Lisa, had little extras such as snacks in the refrigerator. The property is absolutely beautiful and the creek out front was soothing to the soul. We saw deer, geese and all kinds of pretty birds. Lisa and Mike are great hosts and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Ceres is about 35 minutes away from Marion where there are many restaurants to choose from along with grocery stores to get any supplies you may need. This property was amazing and we can’t wait to come back for another visit.

We spent a night on our way down the east coast. Such a great place to stop to allow space for our dog to stretch after a long day of driving. Coffee,snacks and water left for us and the place was really clean. I would absolutely stop here again. If you’re looking for a dogs paradise and a stay away from the hustle and bustle, this is it!

We loved the quiet. The cottage is very nice and the host has thought of everything! We spent an evening watching the deer who ventured very close to the cottage.
