About this house rental
Our spacious American foursquare style home built in 1903 is the perfect family retreat! Located in quaint Cheriton, we are a quick 8 minute drive to downtown Cape Charles, and a 7 minute drive to the boat ramp in Oyster. It's the perfect location for both the fisherman and the beachgoer! We renovated the kitchen & bathrooms while leaving the original hardwood floors, wooden elements and layout of the house the same to preserve the character of this 118 year old roomy home. On 1.25 acres!

Everything was great. Only a couple suggestions. New pans in kitchen. There were two and they both seemed well used. Everything stuck to them. The other is wash clothes with towels. Only one of us had wash clothes. But the host was awesome and very quick to respond to questions. The house was great. Thanks so much.

This house was AMAZING! A secluded, shady property with lots of room and comfortable areas to enjoy the day! The screened porch was a favorite! Four roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds and inviting furnishings. It’s like a hug from the minute you walk in the door. Woody was very responsive- we didn’t need to reach out for a thing- except to let him know how enjoyable our stay was. Plenty of parking, very quiet! If peace is what you are looking for- try this house!
