About this house rental
Bespoke historic property that provides world-class overnight accommodations. Tucked between the Weber River & Wasatch Mountains, 18 mins from the public Snowbasin ski resort, 5 mins from the WPR private luxury residential mountain community, and 45 minutes from the Powder Haven private luxury residential mountain community. Completely renovated in 2023, this unique building is 3,000 square feet of historic charm and modern amenity. This listing includes exclusive use of the entire property. 6 adult guests are permitted on-site from 10pm-8am during the reservation. Larger group use for private events with up to 50 guests require separate event rental ($1,125). Please reach out for private event rental inquiries.
The second story of the property has a 1,500 square foot sanctuary with 13-foot rounded ceilings (This is a historic church that was renovated into a home) and includes a living and dining area, along with a gourmet chef’s kitchen on the sanctuary stage (perfect for private chef’s and caterers), and a spa-like bathroom with an oversized and extra-deep Moroccan copper bathtub. The upstairs level also includes a chesterfield sofa with a queen sized sofa bed. The 1,500 square foot downstairs level has a gear storage closet perfect for skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, fishing rods, and is equipped with electric heated boot dryers and gear-drying racks. The downstairs level boasts a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom guest wing, and includes a lounge area and TV, along with a euro sized kitchen and guest laundry room. Each bedroom has a queen bed and its own en-suite or dedicated bathroom, and includes designer furnishings, linens, fixtures, toiletries, bath salts, hair dryers and towels.
Guests will also enjoy the 8-person hot tub and displays of one of a kind eclectic, vintage, and handmade original fine art and objects gathered from around the globe. Travelers often comment that this is “the best short term rental I’ve ever stayed in.” Book yourself a retreat, and enjoy this one of a kind vacation experience. The name could not be more perfect. Base camp is fitting because you are central to any and all outdoor activities. My family spent time cooking, playing games, and enjoying the amenities. The location is perfect especially if you need a great getaway. Thank you Lydia

I could tell this property was going to be special based on the photos but to say they don't do it justice is an understatement. This is such a special retreat and my family and I are already dying to go back.
Lydia, the owner, was excellent with her communication and even left us delicious treats and a thoughtful note upon arrival. The walkways were shoveled for us and we even had a lovely handwritten note from the neighbor across the street offering to help us in anyway during our stay.
The house was so clean, comfortable and extremely welcoming. The decor is so well done with so much character while also not feeling overwhelming.
All the appliances worked great and there was everything we could need in the kitchen to make cozy meals at night. My kids loved waking up and playing the piano and the upstairs was so inviting at night for games, puzzles, etc.
We can't wait to stay at Sacred Basecamp again!
