The River Retreat has a peaceful setting on the Brazos River, allowing you to relax and enjoy the beautiful river view. A short distance to the Mammoth State Park, Cameron Park Zoo, Waco Regional Airport. 15 miles to Magnolia Market and less than that to McLane Stadium, Baylor University, Dr. Pepper Museum, Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, Waco Suspension Bridge, numerous eating establishments, nightlife, antiques, and tours.

Double oven, complete set of pots and pans, Keurig coffee pot, electric teakettle, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. Lighted covered parking, Large comfortable living area plus enclosed sun room. Large fenced yard perfect for outdoor games plus a fire pit for s'mores by the river.

This cottage was so adorable! It’s decorated so cute! It’s so cozy too! The host has thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked, towels are soft, beds are comfortable, a cute screened in porch area, books, games, and fire pit area by the water. Super clean too!!! You can access the river from the property. My 3 kids loved fishing and swimming all day. They caught 14 fish, they were excited!! I’d highly recommend staying here! We had a great time as a family!

clean. Beds were comfy. 20 to 28 minutes to waco. Access to the river from the property. Good place to grill and relax.

I am 84 and my granddaughter is 30. The property was perfect for us. We enjoyed fossil hunting on the river and just enjoying the home. Surprisingly too cold to enjoy a fire, but if it had been hot, we couldn't have spent as much time outside. Enjoyed Waco National Monument. Went to Tonkawa Falls. Waco /Baylor Fossil Museum. Jace's Grocery. My granddaughter loved the porch bedroom. She spent a lot of time there.

This is a really cute house! Very clean and it fit 6 of us easy. We all are already taking about coming back next year. Highly recommend this place.
