About this house rental
Tucked into the quiet coastal community of Summer Haven - just 20 minutes south of historic St. Augustine - Aqua Vista puts your group within half a mile of the beach, close enough to feel the pull of the coast the moment you arrive. Whether your days are filled with shoreline walks, fishing trips, or exploring the Historic Coast, this four-bedroom home gives you the space and comfort to come back to. Sorry, no pets.
Living space
The living room is a relaxed, easy place to land after a day out - comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with streaming, and enough room for the whole group to gather. A dedicated workspace is tucked in for anyone blending a beach trip with remote work.
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen has everything your group needs to cook together: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, and dishes. The large dining table brings all ten of you to the same spot - whether that's a lazy breakfast or a proper sit-down dinner.
Sleeping arrangements
Four bedrooms and five beds sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. Bed linens, towels, hangers, and an iron are all provided, and a washer and dryer make it easy to pack light for longer stays.
Bathrooms
Three full bathrooms keep things moving smoothly for a larger group. Hair dryers are on hand, and at least one bathroom includes a bathtub.
Outdoor & extras
The patio and balcony are made for slowing down - fresh coastal air, room to breathe, and a BBQ grill and outdoor dining area ready for evening cookouts. Central air conditioning, ceiling fans, and heating keep the inside comfortable no matter the weather. Self check-in via keypad and free driveway parking for up to two vehicles take the hassle out of arrival.

Summer Haven sits on the serene stretch of Florida's Historic Coast along A1A. Within 30 minutes you can reach Marineland, Fort Matanzas National Monument, Matanzas Inlet for fishing, and the historic streets of downtown St. Augustine - all easy day trips from the front door.

**Special Notice: Due to continuing beach erosion, St. Johns County is working to replenish the beaches in the area. As a result, neighborhood beach access has been closed. There is public beach access with parking on the north side of the Matanzas Inlet.

We enjoyed our stay at Aqua Vista. It is a great location for walks to the inlet, and you can hear the ocean from the screened-in balcony. Easy drive to our favorite Crescent Beach, either drive-on or park at the various lots along A1A. The house can use a refresher of kitchen supplies, some interior painting, grill cleaning supplies, updated front porch furniture, and beach chairs. A desk for remote work would be nice too. The house was super clean, and the beds were comfy. Plenty of space for a big family.We would stay here again.

The property had some cleaning issues and while the realtor offered to send the cleaners again we had already gone to target that nite to get a mop, cleaning supplies, and a new coffee pot. (Which we did not leave there). At the end of our stay the realtor provided half our cleaning fee back. The location of the property is pretty good, not a lot of traffic down the small street but it is about 100 yds from A1A and when the motorcycle were around it was loud. It's also 100 yards from the water though. There is not a beach, but a very rocky overlook. (We did not need a beach but loved the view). The house is beautifully furnished, nice decor, but it needs some TLC. For the price, I expected more.

Three generations enjoyed this retreat that enjoys easy beach access, very close proximity to Marineland and Fort Matanzas, and a fairly short drive to St. Augustine. Home is very family friendly. We had an amazing week!

No propane when we checked in so we had no hot water or stove for two days. Listing didn’t say there was a grill so we planned on using the stove. The upstairs air conditioning was faulting out. It was 86 when we checked in. Air conditioner wasn’t fixed for a week. My husband and sons worked to get the hot water heater and air conditioner to work. Oven wasn’t fixed before we left. The broiler only worked so my husband was able to switch it out so we could use the oven when we needed it. You had to run the dryer two or three times to dry a load of wash. The house needs to be updated and painted. The yard needs to be cleaned up and there were mouse droppings in the garage. Kitchen needs more bowls and utensils. The house needs some care given to it.
