The newly restored 1940's cottage is a sanctuary of rest and beauty. Walk to the dock and enjoy paddling, fishing, swimming or just relaxing lakeside. Sit on one of the screened porches with your morning coffee and breathe in the fresh air. Enjoy a perfect sunset view and star gazing at the end of your day. Close to great hiking trails and waterfalls, Clemson football games (45 min.) or a visit to Clayton GA (30 min.) or Highlands NC (35 min.). There are excellent dining opportunities within 15-30 miles. Art galleries, antique stores and many boutique shops are nearby and waiting to be explored!

Top 3 BEST places we have ever stayed! Wow!! Bluebird Cottage is fully equipped with everything you want/need for a great stay. Barbie, the host, has thought of EVERY detail. I have learned over time to bring all my own pots/pans/spices if I want to do my own cooking, but this cottage kitchen is fully stocked! I didn't need anything I brought with me. The cottage is SO clean and beautifully decorated. There are cozy nooks all over this property. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking as well. It is such a clean, peacefully little lake.

Loved the Bluebird Cottage!Had everything you would need.You could tell Barbie put a lot love and thought in her lake home!Just Beautiful! It was so clean and comfortable!!
