We loved Didi's apartment! It was super cute, compact but carefully laid out, nothing was overlooked - even yummy drip bag coffee was provided. The location was wonderful, 2 minute walk to a riverside recreational area, a park (we were staying with a child) and close by to an eating street. The area felt very safe, easy to get to, easy access on the ground floor. And the value for money was incredible. We would happily stay again.
In case you're looking - the washing machine/drier is on the balcony.

If I had known in advance how great DiDi's place was, I'd have stayed for three weeks instead of three nights. This has to be the best kept secret in Japan. First off, DiDi is an efficient and responsible communicator. She always responds promptly and kindly. The apartment is pristine clean. It has everything, even a washer-dryer combo for laundry. The bed is very comfortable (we didn't need to use the fold out futon, but I'm sure it's fine). Literally ten minutes' walk from the station (with all its restaurants and conveniences) along a lovely river and through a beautiful park, maybe a twenty minute walk from the Awa Dori Kaikan Dance Theatre and Mt. Bizen ropeway. Honestly if Didi would sell me the place, I'd buy it!

Location was great and the shower was fantastic! Having a washing machine was so helpful.
Apart from missing a couple of provisions like teabags, there wasn’t anything not to like.
