Beautifully designed space with great natural light. Every window can be opened and has mesh screens to keep bugs away. Feels great.
Thoughtful lighting with dimming control. Comfortable beds and pillows. Luxurious bath towels and skin products.
Well-equipped kitchen filled with cold drinks, coffee & tea. Breakfast at fish market was delicious! Excellent location, 1 minute walk from train & bus station. 20-minute bus ride to Nachi Falls. Gorgeous hike in the mountains.
Host, Katahara-san, is very generous with her time and hospitality. Sad to leave. Nachi-Katsuura is a beautiful place. We’ll be back!
Nothing!

Beautiful little apartment that looks and even smells great. The host was lovely and gave some great local recommendations. It’s perfectly located just by the station with great restaurants nearby and a cafe serving the fluffiest French toast I’ve ever eaten.
Not a thing.

I really loved the apartment, especially the Japanese cedar used throughout the interior - it has such a soft, pleasant natural scent. The apartment is completely new, very clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
There is helpful information available in English, and communication with the host was very pleasant and easy. It’s a wonderful place where I genuinely felt at home. I would definitely recommend it!
